This coming Saturday I have my first art fair of the 2013 Holiday Season. I will be in New Berlin, Wisconsin at the Ronald Reagan School on Calhoun Road. The Woman's Club has the fair every year in the middle of October. I love the fair in fact I think it is one of my favorites. I have been selling at the fair for 5 years. My space in perfect in the cafeteria on a corner heading into the main gym. PERFECT LOCATION!
This year I have a completely new line of jewelry. Crushed bottle art. I have taken different wine and beer bottles smashed them - then heated the glass pieces to approx. 1400 degrees for 12 hours rounding all the edges of the pieces of glass. I have then taken the glass pieces and designed jewelry. I have earrings, bracelets, pendants, purse holders, bookmarks, and hair art. Here is a pic of a few of the items. All made with wine and beer bottles.
Each is unique and original. I have many different items but not a lot of any one thing. I still have wind chimes and bottle art for sale. I also will be bringing a few Jager Tree Ornaments and Wishing Stars ornaments all made from recycled glass.
Right after the fair I will be heading home to leave to spend a night playing Bingo with a friend. Karen goes to a all night Bingo event in Woodstock, IL. I told her "Sure" I will go with. I like to play Bingo and Karen is a fun friend. My plan for Sunday is sleeping! Hubby always watches football..so I am good to sleep all day!
