I received this recipe from my Mom years ago. This is my hubby's favorite cake. Today, I have a few errands to do then I will be stopping at the store and buying everything needed to make this cake. I have been sick the past week with a sinus and a kidney infection. He has been doing the dishes, making supper and so caring about me! Helping me at home so that I could continue to do the art fairs and work my part-time job. My way of saying "I love ya".......
Orange Soda Cake
You will need:
1 Box of Orange Supreme Cake Mix
1 Box Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 Can Orange Soda
3/4 Cup Oil
Mix cake mix, instant pudding (dry), 4 Eggs, Orange Crush Soda, and 3/4 cup of Oil. Mix Well Pour into a oiled and floured Bundt Pan
Bake 325 degrees for 45 minutes - test center to make sure done - when cake is cooled flip Bundt pan and place cake on serving dish
Heat on stove - 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 3T Orange Juice, and 1/2 cup of crushed pecans Heat until mixture becomes thick.
I always make double glaze.
Pour warm glaze on top of cake!
