Barking Wednesday ~ Fenced in by Love 2014 - Dog Rescue

Thanks for joining me for Barking Wednesday. Each Wednesday my post is about my favorite guy ~ Kingers. I post all kinds of dog related topics. Things I have learned over the years that make life for Kingers just a little bit easier and things that I have learned as a pet owner. Today I want to share this wonderful way of Giving Forward. Dog Fence DIY is hosting this fantastic event!

Fenced In by Love 2014 – Dog Rescue

Organization and Volunteer Of The Year

Valentines Day Fenced In By Love ContestAt Dog Fence DIY they know that wonderful things happen when we are surrounded by love. They are thankful for all the volunteers that reach out to defenseless, abandoned and abused dogs and take extraordinary steps to ensure their safety.
This Valentine’s Day they want you to help them identify individuals that make a difference in the lives of thousands of dogs across the globe. We want to recognize and reward those behind the most touching stories of love and we can’t do it alone.
Fenced In by Love 2014 invites all bloggers to blog about your favorite volunteer or organization that is making a difference by surrounding these helpless dogs with tenderness and affection.

  3. I personally really like working with guide dogs. I helped my mom in this one program when I was little, called Guide Dogs.

  4. What a great cause. I have a friend who is committed to making a difference for our little fur baby friends. I will have to give serious thought to posting about her for a nomination.

  6. This is a really good cause. We adopted a dog from our local shelter and he has been such a wonderful addition to the family.

  7. I love my 2 little rescue dogs so much. I think it's great to recognize people who give their time and/or money to help dogs in need.

  8. That sounds like a great cause. Something I could easily stand behind. Our dog is getting old and will be passing in the next few years. We already know that we will be getting our next dog from the shelter. I won't spend hundreds of dollars on a dog when there are so many good ones that need forever homes!

  14. any small animal rescue deserves to be recognized as heroic! we adopted our kittens from a rescue and i've stayed in contact with them- they always have cats and dogs who need homes.

  15. This is so amazing! I remember becoming more aware of what goes on with dogs who need homes on this Rachael Ray show once. Katherine (I think that's her first name) Hiegel was talking about her non profit and I thought it was so special what her organization does for dogs :)

  16. We have a No Kill SPCA here in town. It is them that I would absolutely nominate! We also have a Wolf Dog Sanctuary here. Perhaps them as well...

  18. That is such a beautiful cause. I don't have a shelter animal but did have one before. A cat and she was really sweet, well sometimes she was. We were looking for a specific animal this time and they didn't have him so we decided to buy from the pet store, but I do support my local shelter.
