Each week I post a topic about my favorite guy...Kingers and his friends.
All kinds of stuff....products - homemade treat recipes - info I have learned over the years, etc. Info I think is helpful in making sure that every dog lives a fantastic life.

Whenever we get into the Jeep - Kingers right away sits in the passenger front seat. Many times that is NOT where I want him to sit. He is a pestie pup and will keep trying until I give in and let him sit up front. Which I do give in about 99.99% of the time.
The Kurgo Backseat Barrier is the answer to my problems. Easy to install and it works great. Kingers can see through the mess and even look over the top. The barrier is high enough that he does not want to jump over it. In fact the barrier works so nice that one of my friends purchased her a Kurgo Backseat Barrier after riding with us to do some shopping. It is nice that the barrier is universal fit so that it works in all vehicles. Fits great in my Jeep and also in my friends GMC. The barrier also has a nice pouch that I use to keep Kingers leash in. Makes it easy to find when we arrive at the park.
Here are a few reason why the Kurgo Backseat Barrier is a must have for all dog owners:
- Protects you and your passengers from your roaming dog
- Protects your dog from launching forward during quick stops
- Barrier has a bottom mess to ensure rear seat climate control
- Front seat stays clean from dog hair and dirt
This makes total sense to protect your pet and the passengers in the car. I don't have pets, but I can appreciate the idea!
ReplyDeleteour Tobey won't go in the front (not sure why, but he won't so we've not had to get anything like this) but we have friends who struggle with this and my sister lets her puppy on her lap when she drives!! safety FIRST
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any pets yet, but this product sounds great for keeping pets away from the front seat and this way they don't disturb while driving.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a great idea. My FIL drives around with his dog a lot and seems to think it is okay to drive with the pup on his lap... totally not okay. Have to look into getting this for him. Thanks so much
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great idea! I know my cousin has her dogs roaming through the car when she's driving. It gets quite annoying and I think dangerous. This is such a good way to keep them in one place. Also a great gift for her!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. My Baby Girl is small but she can still sail over the seat!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a needed item for big dogs, but good for little ones too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. My lab used to always want to be up front with us. I whish I had this when I had her.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! Usually someone sits in the back seat with our dogs, to keep them contained.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. Usually our dog wants to climb in the front seat with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great product!
ReplyDeleteI love the barrier! My pup always tries to jump on my lap while driving.
ReplyDeletewhat a neat product-- sharing with my dog owner friends!
ReplyDeleteThat's something that I may need to invest in. My Shih-Tzu loves to jump in the front seat whenever we're taking him to the groomers. This will surely keep him in the back.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful invention. It is hard to keep dogs safe from flying forward on a collision or even stops. this is also great, like you said, for keeping them from jumping up front!
ReplyDeleteJust by looking at this, I can see why it works so well for keeping your dog out of the front seat. He's so cute though. Poor thing has to wait in the back until you all get to your destination :)
ReplyDeleteI have a few doggie loving friends that may find this useful. Passing it along :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I see so many dogs driving on their owners laps with the windows open I always wonder how that isn't dangerous? I like this idea because it keeps the animals and the owner from danger.
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest thing - we always had trouble keeping the dogs back there!
ReplyDeleteMy dog never goes for car rides loose! She is so little that we put her in a carrier so she feels safe, and at ease. This is great for larger dogs though!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great idea. My dog goes in the car once in a while but I have a small dog. This is perfect for the larger breeds.
