Green Lawn Care Tip

Easy way to have a great looking lawn!

To have a healthy lawn it is especially helpful to keep your grass long. Long grass needs less watering and less care (grass will choke out weeds). Try to keep your grass at least 3 1/2 inches long.

Only use natural fertilizers or compost. That way you are protecting all water sources in your area. Did you know that when you leave your grass clippings on your yard you are naturally fertilizing your lawn and they are FREE!

If you do not have lots of earthworms in your grass...you should consider purchasing some. Earthworms keep your soil healthy. They allow water and air to penetrate into the soil....plus they add important nutrients to make your grass strong.

  1. These are great tips! We always keep our grass a bit longer. Especially during the winter. Hubby also let's it seed out once in the spring and once or twice in the fall to let it naturally fill itself in.
