promote this restaurant. I do so because I LOVED the food! Thanks for visiting.
Have you ever stopped at a new restaurant and right away you knew this is a place you belong? Well yesterday my hubby and I found our place. We had just left the doctor's office and we wanted to get a bite to eat before heading to Home Depot for plants for the deck and garden.
As many of you know I live in a tourist area - SE Wisconsin - Lake Geneva area. What is nice about where I live is that I can have the small town feel and also the amenities of a tourist spot.
Living in the country - we do not always travel to downtown Lake Geneva but today we thought we would check out what was open.
We found the neatest new diner! Joni's Diner
It is a restored 1950's diner car!
Will not all retro - because the food is right up there with the best food in Lake Geneva! We ordered the corn beef hash breakfast plate. I am telling you it was delicious! Corn beef - potatoes - onions - green peppers and cabbage! Yep cabbage! It was DELICIOUS! I had two over medium eggs with mine and my hubby had two poached eggs! I had english muffin and he chose sourdough bread. Check this plate out - made with all fresh ingredients!
Being the blogger I am - I started to eat and then said..."Yipes I left my phone in the truck". I got up and went and got my phone to take some pics. I told hubby I have got to blog about this place - unique and the food is delicious!
If you are in the mood for GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE ...... take a drive to visit
They are open 7 days a week from 6am - 3pm
Located at 111 Wells Street Lake Geneva, WI - heading West on Hwy 50 turn left onto Wells...you can not miss the diner on your left right across the street from McD's
I love eating in diner's like this. I literally have one right behind my house, so I can walk there....and often do.
ReplyDeleteDiners have the best food! We have a local one that we go to all the time.
