We live in rural southeast Wisconsin in farm country. There has been much talk about the spotting of Coy-wolves in our area.
One of the markings of a Coywolf is the wolf like tail. This animal definitely has all of the markings of a Coywolf. I was able to find a website with some great info on the Coywolf. Check out Coywolf.org ~ click HERE
Amazing pics! So beautiful but
then so scary!
The school is aware and they are taking precautions to ensure the safety of the children. All will be fine with the kids. All children are taking home notices about the discovery and the community leaders are aware making sure to notify everyone in the area.
We all know if we see one - who knows how many more are in the area.
About two months ago I was driving down the road and all of a sudden a turkey sat right in the middle of the road. I stopped and then a dog like animal ran so fast across the road it was a blur. Once the dog like animal crossed the road the turkey got up and went the other way. I assumed the turkey used the road and traffic as a protector against the animal chasing him. I bet that animal was also a Coywolf - it looked much like these pictures.
Have you ever seen a Coywolf in person?
Yes I think we have some around here... but of course The State people say they don't exist... lol
