Barking Wednesday ~ 5 Human Foods to Feed your Dog

This weeks Barking Wednesday is all about a few  human
foods that are good for your dog. Digger my grandbaby is a crazy dog - he loves apples!

I want to introduce you to Digger. He is Dawn's puppy. He is a Yellow Lab -  full of energy and he loves snacking on apples.

His love for apples is what gave me the idea for this post. So here goes - 5 natural human foods that are excellent for your fur baby! 





#1 ~ Apples with the skin on are full of plant chemicals (phytonutrients) that are thought to be  protective against some types of cancer in humans. 

#2 ~ Oatmeal is a good source of soluble fiber.

#3 ~ Eggs are a great source of very digestible protein, riboflavin, and selenium
.
#4 - Sweet Potatoes contain dietary fibre and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, beta carotene, and manganese 

#5 ~ Green Beans are loaded with plant fiber, vitamin K, vitamin C, and manganese

homemade treats! 
Eggs are tasty for doggie breakfast!
Freeze Green Beans for a fast refreshing dog snack 
Slice up apples for a sweet treat.

  9. Awesome info, glad to find some more things okay for my dog; I know so far that onions, broccoli, mushrooms and chocolate are bad for them though!
