Evolve ~ Adapt ~ Change ~ Survive ~ Live

Sometimes in life you are thrown a curve ball that just knocks you for a loop.  Mine came about a year and a half ago.  I was forced to turn my world upside down and back and forth. Moving after 38 years of living in a home - then moving with only me and my dog Diesel. Living alone for the 1st time in my 62 years.

I can not tell you how thankful I am to have my two amazing kids. My daughter and her family were life savers - they helped in in so many ways. My son lives over 700 miles away but he was willing to uproot and come help me if I needed him - thankfully I did not need him to disrupt his life.

To have your children give their all for you is such a rewarding experience. I will never be able to pay them back for the support and comfort they gave me.

Now lets jump forward 1.5 years.........

I can not express how wonderfully amazing my life is.  I am me! Only Me! Not the shell of someone - but really ME!!!

I have my wonderful family and fabulous friends. I have ventured past my comfort zones and am living a life of happiness and excitement.  I truly am blessed.  What I thought was one of the worse events in my life - turned into one of the best things to ever happen to me.  NOW I AM ME!!!

I am hiking and even plan to hike a section of the Appalachian Trail in May.  My newest hobby is kayaking. Gosh I LOVE it. It is even better when my best-est friends also are in love with kayaking. I enjoy camping and living life.   I laugh more than I ever have and it is really hard for me to find fault in anything. I LOVE LIFE!

I guess what I am trying to say...is ......when you think your life has hit the lowest point - it might not be for the bad. It just might mean it is time for you to change your course. Time for you to venture out of your comfort zone and make the most of every day.  One thing a life changing event does to you is it makes you cherish people and moments....because you know all too well that your life can change in a second.

So if you stumbled on this blog and were wondering "What the heck this lady is talking about"  please remember this.

Life is Precious and ONLY YOU can bring happiness to Your Life!
